i'm considering going to bali , in january for a few days of r&r and to get a thai tourist visa (double entry).

has anyone done this lately?

special requirements?

time frame?

Not sure about a 'double' entry tourist entry but i applied for a 'single' entry visa earlier in the year.

Cost US$25, Copy of air ticket out of Thailand required.

Applied in the morning and picked up the next day. No waiting as i was the only person there on both occasions.

Brother got a single earlier in the year.. Mentioned they did not take local currency and wanted USD only (which he had hassles getting).. Dont know if THB would be accepted, best to turn up with some USD.

Doubtfull. There's a big hospital here in chiang mai, and at least last time I looked, the contact

email was @hotmail.com. ;-)
