Where To Buy A Good Quality Fishing Rod, Line Etc

Featured Replies

Well the title says it all other than I will be shopping in Chiang Mai so if anyone can point me in the direction of a fishing tackle shop, hopefully centrally located.

Thanks in advance.

Not central but there are two located within 100 yards of Limping Market on corner of 1st Ling Load and Hwy 1001 on the left going north towards Mae Jo. The one is directly behind the bank that at the turn -in to the RIMPING Market.can't remember what bank name is but the people inside are dressed like bankers

Fishing tackle shop in Rimping shopping complex in Mae Joe. Might be the same as Bunta is refering to.

Do not know if this is of any use, but.....If you stand on the inside of the moat, facing Tha Pae gate, turn right, and walk alongside the moat ,until you must turn right....turn right, and on your right you will see a tackle shop.not very far along the road......

the owner and his wife both speak very good English, and are very helpful....

they have a wide range of gear at different prices and qualities.....sorry not to be able to give the street names...but only visit CM when i have to.......hope this helped!

Just to update the info - I went to this shop and found a good rod and some tackle but it is now closed. The other shop mentioned by cm-happy is a separate shop and is still open.
