It Manager Searching Job

Hello,

This is my first attempt trying to find a Job in Thailand. I have been told that it will be difficult, but i'll just give it a try. I'm not in a hurry.

Please note:

* I am not living in Thailand currently but want to move to Thailand mid to longterm.

* I can only speak a few words in Thai but started to take lessons.

* I know the difference between work and vacation.

I'm male, 33 years old, nationality CH/UK working in Switzerland. My current position/role is Operation Manager for the Switzerland Branch at an international company with headquarter in London UK, specializing on MPLS Networks and Managed Hosting Solutions for Business Customers.

My duties are following:

* Lead the technical team (Support, NOC, SOC, PM, SM) in Switzerland

* Report to the Management

* Responsible for Budget

* Participate in the development of requisitions, bids, specifications and negotiations for contracts

* Participate in strategic network planing

* Prepare recommondations for new hardware and software solutions

* Develop and maintain system architecture and operational documentation

* Provide technical assistance

My experiences in methodology:

* ITIL (IT Service Management)

* Prince 2 (Project Management)

* BSI (IT security)

My technical experiences:

Cisco

* What devices to buy according to performance needed

* Basic commands

* Theoretical knowledge about routing, BGP and MPLS

Unix

* Redhat Linux 5 years

* FreeBSD 5 years

Development

* PHP 6 years

* Ruby 2 years

* Ruby on Rails 2 years

* Perl 5 years

I'm interested in any Job within the scope of my experiences. Offers should cover at least 1 year contract duration.

I can come to Thailand for interviews in April or Ocober/November 2008.
