January 6, 200818 yr Hi all, I'm currently running out of my three months period of my 1 year non imm "o" visa (22 january) and on the process to make a work permit. Is there any way to avoid to do the visa run and change the visa for the work permit directly here in such a short time? Do you guys have any experience about it? Thanks
January 6, 200818 yr It looks like you have a multiple-entry non-O visa. If the date of 22 January you mention is “22 JAN 2008” stamped on your visa after the text “this visa must be utilized before”, then you can make one last border run not later than 21 January 2008 and you will receive another entry stamp good for 90 days. If after these 90 days you still don’t have your work permit, you need to go to a Thai consulate, ie outside Thailand, and apply for a new visa. -- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
