Saw Palmetto For Enlarged Prostate

I'm down to my last few 600 mg. Saw Palmetto Berry caps (Nature's Life, 600 Prostate Maintain w/vitamins, minerals, amino acids & herbs), 2 caps a day. I've been taking them for six months instead of my prescribed Proscar tablets and Terazosin caps. They have worked much better than I expected, and I've have pretty good flow without taking the prescribed medicine. I've seen Saw Palmetto capsules in a few shops but in very small doses. I'm also considering going to China Town to see if the herbalist have it, or what they prescribe for BPH...plenty of old Chinese guy's walking around, they must be taking something.

Anyway any recommendations or specific sources for big amounts of Saw Palmetto are appreciated. BTW I'm off the Proscar and Terazosin to help effectuate impregnating my wife.

Also you will find at least a couple of patent/prepared tablet formulas in China Town that work well...

Picked up three different tablets yesterday on Yawaraj Road in China Town from a pharmacy/herb shop opposite the White Orchid Hotel. They did not have Saw Palmetto, but were very helpful and aware of my problem. I'm surprised by the suggested dosage course of two of the brands that were suggested first...6 pills three times a day!

I'll try them sepertaly and monitor the results. Have not been to GNC, but will take a look.

I ran out and searched all over Pattaya for it including GNC. Was told by a phamacist that it's available by doctor's prescription only and few if any normal places stock it ??? Would love to hear if anyone finds it.

Yes thats the normal dose the pills look like little shiny brown pellets most likely. You take six two or three times a day. I used some of these formulas many years ago for patients. They worked very well and were inexpensive.

I just got concerned about contents and quality control. I only use herbal and homeopathic meds from the US or Germany now.

If GNC doesn't have it I'd check if they can order it.

Get it combined with pygeum africanum if available.

Yes that's my concern as well...I might try one of these brands and see if I notice a change. I will probably have my bother go to Whole Foods in the states, and load up on what I've been taking and send them to me.

Thanks but there's always a good chance of paying duty on items shipped from a retailer. Better to have a family member send them to avoid paying any extra charges.
