Criteria On Which To Obtain A Non-im B Visa?

Featured Replies

The Thai Consul, Hull's website states that one of the possible criteria on which to obtain a non-im B visa is...

"3. The applicant possesses their own business and can provide documentation in

support of this."

Are they refering to a business outside of Thailand (e.g. UK company) or a "foreign" business registered inside Thailand?

Can anyone help me out with an answer to this one as I emailed Hull but never received a reply.

Cheers.

I had understood that a visa could be issued on receipt of a letter on a UK business notepaper, confirming that the holder needs to spend time in Thailand for business purposes. We have been advised to gain entry initially in this way and then start a Thai company once we are there. The advice was given by a UK farang who has lived there for some time...hope it's correct???
