February 5, 200818 yr Visa Run Companies-Advice Needed Looking for Visa Run Service that picks everyone up at "one" central location and drops them off accordingly, with the idea that they're going to get to the border and back to Pattaya as quickly as possible. My last couple experiences have been with a Visa Co. on Soi Bukhow which stops to pick everyone up at their rooms and deposit everyone back at their rooms, as is the norm. Well that takes a good hour and a half,, and somehow I'm always the first picked up and last dropped off. It adds about two hours to the trip to pick and drop all the miserable visa zombies on and off.
February 5, 200818 yr I like 5 star visa, Sportsmans pub soi 13. Pick up & drop off from there. Good minibus, 6 seats only.
February 5, 200818 yr 1st class visa runs from Witherspoons on Soi Buakhow. Brekkie and a feed when you get back but retrofitted 6 seat vans so well more luxury. Bt2400 all in.

Seconded, their driver is not a race driver, he drives smoothly and sensibly (not slow), you will get there and back. Done 2 with them, you get the 10th one free, but at 3 months between runs I'm not sure I'll be able to collect. If you have to go on specific day soon they will put you in the front seat next to the driver, no video but you can still sleep and you get the visa run done o time.
February 5, 200818 yr Both 5-star and 1st class are good. They offer a breakfast before you start so, although you need to get to the start-point early, so does everyone else. Better to look at the prospectus first. If they offer brekkie, then they want everyone at their take-off point. I have been on other runs that collect people from their hotels/condos and have been amazed at some of the out-of-the-way places that exist in the area. But they do make it a long and tedious trip. Better on a six-person van with a good book. 'Cos often the videos don't work

Been with them a few times, and best by far in my experience. A little more expensive but its certainly worth it for a comfy seat.
February 5, 200818 yr If the cheapest with no food and a packed knackered old van is Bt1700 or something you are talking about Bt700 more every 1 to 3 months ! there is no comparison IMHO. Witherspoons is a hot meal on return whilst the Sportsman is a packed lunch as you come back I believe.
February 5, 200818 yr If you can drive (or have a friend ho can) why not try yourself, a lot of fun to be had making a trip out of it! The casinos in Cambodia, the golf course at Pong Nam Ron, a short drive to Koh Chang, or even a night in Koh Kong (pardon the spelling), and on to Sihanoukville. I have enjoyed all of the above, and would recommend to anyone. Happy Days

Happy Days I have driven it several times, and quite frankly I would much rather be driven, read the paper, watch a movie, or have a nap. It's a dog of a drive, and unless you have someone to share costs with will actually cost you more in fuel than an organised trip. Don't forget its 1,100 baht for your Cambo Visa and exit stamp, take this off the visa run cost and they are actually very good value for money.
