Have you registered with the embassy.

You can do it online.

However:

1. Being legally married is not an option, only "Married - Common law"

2. Your emergency contact cannot be your Thai wife - only British citizens or similar are allowed.

The Death in Thailand section is interesting, though:

1. There are not many Spanish undertakers here.

2. People who manage to die in Thailand and Spain, at the same time are somewhat rare as well.

That's most odd as I, and my daughter, are registered with the British Embassy in Bangkok. My wife (my daughter's mother) is a Thai national AND we have been married legally for several years. However, registration is done in person every year.

Astral is correct when he says that the website facility for registration has restricted options. Don't know why!!!
