maxheadroom007 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 My wife and I (both English) are coming to live in Thailand with two kids (both English), 11 and 12 years. They will be in full time international school on Education visas. Am I right in thinking the kids are allowed to stay in Thailand for the school year and we, as guardians, can get visas to accompany them and do not need to do 90 day visa runs? If this is the case what is the process? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
lopburi3 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 One parent can obtain such an extension of stay with a child on an education extension of stay with proof of 500k baht in a Thai bank account. You should read Police Order 606/2006 which you will find in useful information in the pinned items at top of forum. Sections 7.8 and 7.10
