Another Phone Shot

Featured Replies

Was in Khao Lak for Valentines..

This was after sunset and very low light.. Often the worst conditions for phones.. A real camera would have picked up the focus and detail on the rocks better..

I like the monochromatic look and the softness of the water over the rocks.. Tried for a '3rds' with the horizon.. Probably snapped a 100 or so pics of 'walking on beach' 'hotel surrounds' and 'sunset over water' but this is the only one of the bunch I actually like..

And yes a few seconds later a larger wave soaked me :o

I like the photo, you must have very steady hands to take that shot.

I take some photos near on dusk without a flash and get the same blueness as in this photo.

Hats off to you. :o

Yours truly,

Kan Win :D

mmm... how did you manage to take it without tripod with that shutter speed? or you have a tripod for your phone? :o

nice shot!

Sorry for delay.. I thought I was signed up to email alerts on this..

Not very steady hands.. and a second later was very wet hands :o !! I guess there was enough speed in the wave action to create more sense of movement perhaps that it really was..

I was just kinda please as the lens and image sensor in a phone is like a matchhead that it captured sort of what I hoped for..
