Non “o” Retirement From Singapore

Featured Replies

Hope some of you will be able to shed some light on this

Being over 50 years of age and having 800.000 showing on a Thai bank account.

(will not qualify for the 3 months in the account period)

Will it be possible to obtain a 1 year multiple non “O” from Singapore or would it be a 90 day single/multi?

I trust that to prove the 800.000, the letter you get from your local branch at a cost of 100 bath, would be sufficient.

I have tried to search for this but can’t seem to find any recent information about it

The Visa is for a family member

Thanks in advance

Bank passbook/statement current within a month should be all that is required for multi entry non immigrant O visa issue from Singapore if above 50 years. Account can be anywhere.

For the 100 baht would get the letter also but probably will not be required.

Thank you very much for your swift response

What about under Fifty married to a thai and can show over 800,000 over 3 mounths in bank will i get multi ? In PENANG?

Yes, over 400k will obtain in Singapore. In Penang you may not even need anything close to that amount.

Thank YOU

You might be lucky and get a 1 year multi

I only got a single entry 3 months even by showing in excess of 800k baht (eqv)

Did not need the letter from the bank, only the bank book and a copy.

But this was in September 2005. Things do change but not always for the easier

Good luck and let us know how it goes
