RAZZELL Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Does anyone know anything at all about exporting plants, trees or shrubs to Europe? Particularly the UK. I have a friend who's a garden designer and she's interested in importing some of the above. The cost of large bamboo's, acers etc etc is astronomical in the UK. We're talking large scale here, tens of thousands of pounds, as used in hi-end housing developments. Anyone know about costs? Wholesalers? Exporters? Shipping? How long to get to the UK? I know it's a rather vague post, but then so were the questions asked by my friend! RAZZ
PattayaParent Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 One of my mates who's a landscape gardner looked into something similar and found that the plants need to be irradiated (nuked) to kill any bugs before they could be brought into UK so he gave up on the idea.

Thanks for the reply. But they must come from somewhere? RAZZ Edited February 28, 2008 by RAZZELL
