After playing Cricket last week, and then aggravating my back further by playing Squash ( I should have known better), I'm pretty certain that I have the symptoms of Sciatica.

Just would like to know any recommendations of practitioners I should go and see, where I can get the correct diagnosis of the cause and treatment.

Cheers,

I'm with you brother. Blew up my lower back playing beach volleyball, landed in some uneven, hardened sand.

Chiropracter helped loosen up the jammed discs (here in Phuket), definitely worth it. I've been on the shelf about two months now, but will be back to playing ball soon. Remember your abs, and your hamstrings keep that together, so as soon as you are getting over the pain, strengthen. Run and do leg lifts.

Before exercise be sure to have a good stretching routine, afterwards, a bag of ice on the lower back.

Best of luck !
