I am starting to build up quite a value in house contents in Chiang Mai and would like to get some insurance against theft, fire, and flooding if possible.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions of companies and cost?

Thanks

Iain

Some US companies will offer "renter's" converage on all house contents in Thailand (even if you are the owner vice renter). They will also offer a Personal Article Floater for high value items like jewelry, cameras, antiques, etc.

I say "some companies" because I have both coverages with one company and, if one company offers it, I assume others do, also.

Look at QBE (south side of the moat near the psychiatric hospital) about 5,000 Baht. Can be a bit cheaper with NZI in BKK, but they do have a web site to give quotes. You'll have to google it.
