regedit Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Got this message today when trying to send email from Outlook 2003. "550 Message rejected because [my pc name] [ip address] is blacklisted." In a condo. Running XP Pro. New PC and migrated outlook.pst file from old pc. Any idea's what I've done to upset Outlook/ISP/PC and how to fix ? Thanks.
A_Traveller Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 550 may be caused if your PC clock {or date} is out of synch. It is possible for ISP here to be temporarily blacklisted owing to other user activities. One other option is to re-connect the internet getting a new IP lease, which might not be subject to such a listing. Regards
Wash Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Either Google or Yahoo search for 550 Message rejected and you will find many options for possible solutions.
