Posting Passport To Vietnamese Consulate In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I'm planning a trip to Vietnam at the end of the month, I've seen some online services for the visa but would be happier using

the consulate. Just worried about posting my passport from Koh Samui, should I be? Anyone have any recommendations for the best service?

cheers

ps. anyone ever use the online services for visa to vietnam?

If you use EMS you should be OK, but of course there is always a risk.

Are the online services for Visa on arrival?

I looked at the online services myself but thought popping into the Bangko embassy would be easier as i was staying next door at the Plaza Athenee.

Well i did not get around to it so went the online route and the service I rceived as prompt and efficients - no problems picking up the visa at the other end and they hurried it through for me as it was just before TET.

I do not know the exact rules about posting a url on here but i used a company called visa-vietnam

PS: I would not be posting my passport around in Thailand - courier maybe.

Yes the online service I used was visa on arrival - they have a window to the side of Immigration when you arrive.

Prior to going you get a letter that allows you to board the plane OK .

Cheers for the relpy all, I've talked to a few people on Samui who have warned against posting your passport and

it seems that the online service is not run from Lagos so I'll give it a go.

thanks.
