We are planning on flying on ANA from Bangkok to Washington, DC in June. It will be our first flight with them. Has anyone ever had any particular problems with them or anything that will be helpful to know concerning re-booking etc.

I flew BKK-NRT-IAD on ANA in September, 2006 which at the time the 777-300ER (NRT-IAD) was brand new. I believe the same aircraft is used on the route. I had a wonderful experience with ANA. I was in first class so maybe that enhanced my experience but, overall, I would recommend ANA. I had a snafu in BKK where I was taken off the aircraft after I boarded due to the wrong type of Star Alliance award credit given to ANA from United, but they let me continue on and told me it would be straightened out in NRT. I was given a polite apology in Narita and enjoyed the first class lounge and the NRT-IAD flight in First Class. The early afternoon arrival makes it great for connections, too.
