I use Delphi, a development environment but I am stuck with Windows XP, I could not get my favourite Windows 2000 to work in my Linux Dual boot system...

The problem I have is when I am in the editor, if I click the mouse wheel say 5 clicks up, the window scrolls maybe 20 lines, not the 5 lines I expected. Sometimes it will keep scrolling right off the page!!

Is there a setting in WinXP where I can adjust this or am I stuck with the scroll bars only??

Try the Control Panel and select Mouse settings. Change the number of lines to scroll to 1

Thank you Opalhort, that is EXACTLY what I needed. I changed the scrolling from 3 lines to one and it made not an iota of difference. Then I remembered,'this is windows, not a real OS... and I have just made a tiny change so...', I switched off and back on and away it went. perfect!!

Thanks again...
