Hi,

I heard a rumour that the List 3 which limits foreign companies to do certain business activities has been amended. As to my understanding, freight forwarding companies as well as trading companies can from now on be 100% foreign owned. Is this correct? Are there any downsides of these otherwise excellent news (if indeed correct...)

cheers

Wrong.

-we have a committee working. They might propose some changes for some items of list 3. Nothing has been amended so far.

-the changes don't seem to be regarding the %. But rather the process to ask for a licence (the current principle would remain : services listed in list 3 are forbidden for companies under Foreign Business Act, it means with more than 50 % owned by foreigners)
