Changing visa status once in thailand

I am arriving soon in Bangkok from the UK with a non-immigrant B visa, to teach at a language school. Anyone know how easy/difficult it is to get a new visa if I quit that job when I'm there? Either a new non-immigrant B (after having found a new school to employ me, of course), or even a Tourist Visa??? Thanks.

Easy... just start the same cycle over again. No problem obtaining the tourist visa as well if you choose that option (to just live in Thailand and NOT work)

For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
