Guys,

I usually stay in the Dynasty, but am considering the Honey as I see a few recs on the site. Couple of questions:

Is it girl friendly?

Are the rooms usually as good as shown on the website?

Idea of the costs for a room?

Cheers,

Ace

And while I'm asking questions, any recs for places in or near Hua Hin?

Cheers again

Yeah, Honey's girl friendly. Nice and clean rooms. If price is a problem, ask them for a room on the main floor (parking garage) generally cheaper. In Hua Hin I've always stayed at the cheaper guesthouses on the water. I haven't been there in a while and there was talk of tearing a few of them down. I can't remember the name of any of them so sorry about that but I'm sure a few TV members will know. Cheers!

I booked a room a room at the honey a week ago, when I got there the room I had booked was not available.I was offered a room on the third floor or one on the ground floor. On looking at the rooms I found them to be dingy,no fridge and having badly soiled carpets.Needless to say, I decided to stay elsewhere.

And the rooms I saw bore little resemblance to the web site.Price 800 baht,900 baht and 1000 baht.

I ended up at the Nana Tai at 1200 baht a night .More than happy for the price!
