Hi everyone,

I'm preparing for my first Non-O yearly extension based on marriage and I am unsure on when to apply. Is there a fixed rule? ie. You must have 21 days remaining on your current permitted to stay stamp.

I'm in my home country now, with my wife and we will be returning to Thailand on the 1st of May. I have a valid re-entry permit but my visa will expire 17 days after I return. Is this enough time to apply for the extension?

You can apply up until the last day but they prefer two or three weeks early in case you need to obtain any documents you might not have. You should be fine.

Can apply anytime within the final month.

Always best to do as soon as you can in case of any problems.
