Always preferred the European beers, but really like getting Lao beer when visiting Vientiane. Best beer I ever had was in Poland though. For some reason, Communist and formerly Communist countries tend to have better than average beer!

I agree with Lung Ling - Beer Lao is one of the finest beers in Asia but have never seen it in Bangkok.
