He can apply for the visa with proof of marriage and she would be granted the same visa as a spouse. Either 800000 in the bank or proof of pension in the amount of 65000 per month. lopburi3 Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 As said it could change in the future but presently if one person obtains a one year extension of stay for retirement the legal spouse can use that extension proof to obtain an O visa and one year extension of stay as dependent.
