Blackandwhite Posted July 27, 2003 Share Posted July 27, 2003 We are going in Novenber to LOS. We being my wife ''Thai'' my daughter 2years old and two of our freinds. We would normally try to go where there are some beaches as we all do enjoy soaking up the sun and the baby does love running around on the beach. I have heard the Chang Ria / Mai should not be missed. We could settle for a nice pool I guess. Please if you have been to the mentioned areas can you comment on what there is do and maybe suggest hotels or guest houses and prices. lopburi3 Posted July 28, 2003 Share Posted July 28, 2003 Can recommend Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew in Chiang Mai, in the 950-1200 baht per night range, as a very good choice, Building in connected to one of the largest shopping malls in North Thailand, which includes an ice skate rink and movie theaters. The hotel has a Thai Dinner Theater and one of the largest pools around. The facility was designed to be 4-5 star but runs as 3 star so it is a very good value IMHO. Deluxe rooms are very large.
