When a Thai friend had migraines she saw a neurologist at Bumrungrad. I don't remember his name but any neurologist should do. I like Dr. Kaseansom. He will point you in the right direction.

Yes he is at Bumrungrad but, you are right, he has disappeared from the list. Have looked at the other neurologists and most of them have overseas experience. One lady doctor, who does not mention overseas work, does list neuro-opthalmology as a special interest. Maybe she (Dr. Jithanorm) would be best bet?

Peter,

I'm not clear what you mean when you say the migraiones are linkled to your sight. If you mean that you see auras or have visdual disturbances before, during or after the migraines, this is a common occurrence with migraine and you don't need a neuro-opthalmogist but rather a specialist in migraines.

There is a special Headache clinic at Bangkok Hospital Neuroscience Center, contact [email protected]

You could also try DR. ANAN SRIKIATKHACHORN at Bangkok Nursing Home Hospital, he specializes in headache and is an Assoc. Professor at Chula.

Dear Sheryl,

Thank you, I will look into your suggestions, though it really is a neuro-opthalmogist that I'm seeking. It is not auras, etc. I'm getting migraines triggered by wearing glasses and using the computer, and I want someone to check the brain-sight link, and see if I can ameliorate this. I've already seen neurologists and have been on migraine prophylactics for months, with no effect yet. The neurologist says it may not be a bad idea to see a neuro-opthalmologist -- but hard to find one...

As I said above, Dr. Jithanorm at Bumrungrad specialises in neuro-opthalmology.
