Any swedes (or anyone else) knowing of any place that import and sell swedish style candy (lösgodis) in the Chalong/Rawai area?

The only lösgodis i know being sold in thailand is Ikea in Bangkok. But that is actually almost worth the trip!! As frech as at home and good selection. Also snus and some newspapers are availibe there. For senap and lingonsylt: svenska kyrkan. Also Bangkok. Sorry i cant help you with the phuket availability since i am a samui resident. The place is called habitat. We call it "ikea in Bangkok" since its owned by Ikea and sell the same things. I bought some Swedich goods there 3 or 4 months ago but i have to come back to you with the location, had no idea where i was!! I guess this dont help the op at all anyway so lets leave it. :o

They don't carry "lösgodis", but they some of the other goodies that you probably like, and the shop is in Kathu.

I know one company that sell Swedish pick and mix candy imported from Scandinavia.Here is the phone number for the manager 089-0744484 his name is Thomas.The company name is King candy and they have an office,warehouse in Bangkok.

There is a young Swedish girl who started to import all sort of candy from Scandinavia; here company name is Phuket Candy bar and is located in Chao Fah Road, Chalong.

I just noticed some in a convenience store in Kata. If you are coming down the hill from the view point make a right and it is the first store on the left just past the lazy trash ridden tuk tuk drivers under the sala. Hint: you will see a few tuk tuks parked in front.

They cater to lots of swedes but not sure what sort of wierd (to me) Swedish candy they had but I was surprised to see it and thought the Shop Owner was very clever!
