I have no doubt it happens occasionally. Equally, the English language press avoids negative coverage of Thailand whereever possible. The notion that the Thai Government would compensate victims of such attacks and send them back to their homeland is laughable.

For what it's worth, there are probably more murders of foreigners in Thailand each year than penile amputations and the Government rarely raises a finger to help in those cases.

It's a horrible thought losing the wifes' best friend, the eyes water just thinking about it. My advice buy a chastity belt and keep a stiff upper lip and dont sleep.
