Piano Mover Needed

Featured Replies

Does anyone know someone with experience to move, set-up and possibly repair a grand piano in or near the Pattaya area?

Please! No jokes about Mr Shifter ( remember the monkey ads? PG tips ) We've already used him and that's why we now need someone to repair the damned thing!

If you cannot find anyone in Pattaya, then I suggest you contact Peterson Piano on Sukhumvit road, Bangkok.

When I moved from Bkk to Pattaya, I had them pack and move my 80 year old Yamaha upright, They did an excellent professional job, but of course it wasn't cheap.

They still come down to tune my piano, and often travel to the Pattaya area to tune other pianos.

If your Grand needs some repairs, I'm sure they can do that as well, as part of their business is importing 2nd Hand piano from Japan and restoring them and selling them.

It might be worth giving them a call and see what they say.

ive heard liberaces pretty good :o

"20" odd years ago when I was a student I worked in removals and we were one of a few who moved pianos.

We had specialists follow us and retune

As Mobi says - go for the guy's who know about it!

Thanks Mobi, we have contacted the Piano center who have 3 addresses in Bangkok and they are supposed to be coming on Tuesday but will keep Petersons in mind if we get no joy.
