With such an often used phrase, I have wondered for years who " Da Man " is. There have been suggestions that Yoda was " The Man ", but now I know................................................Libya "Is" the man .

Wow, that IS a revelation. No idea what it means; 'the man'. Any ideas, Tiggs?

At the risk of dragging this way off topic (theology doesn't really have much to do with winning the lottery) I'll have a go at explaining why the beast/devil is referred to as "a man".

My view is that positioning the beast/devil as a man implies a number of very significant things:

- every man has the potential to become the beast/devil

- because the beast/devil's origins are mortal mankind he is always inferior to God, therefore good will always triumph over evil.

So the question remains just which man is the beast/devil ? Who amongst us ?

Anyway, I thought the name of the beast was Damien....guess that counts me out.
