CLASBYCLAN
Hi I need a removal company with a big truck and lots of strong and carefull workers to move a house full of furniture from one moo baan to another in Chiang Mai. Can you please suggest a company and also how much should I expect to pay. I have 2 king size beds, a childrens furniture set, 3 sofas, tv, wardrobes, garden furniture, an enormous fridge and garden furniture. miltonbentley
I moved earlier this year and used Khun Preecha - 0845 024 267 or 053 433 622. He had a large covered lorry and six workers. He came and supervised the work himself. Lorry made 2 trips and it cost 5,000B + another 1,000B for packing. They were extremely efficient put everything in the rooms where we wanted it and there was absolutely no damage. I was very impressed and have no hesitation in recommending him. p1p
I have moved two strong warnings - against Boonma and Nim See Seng - into the pinned warning thread above and copied the above recommendation into the "All Other Professional Help - Plumbers - Electricians - Taxis Etc." thread in the CM Sub Forum
tipsy
I never trust them myself, and listening to some of the 'warnings' it seconds my feelings. Is renting a pick-up or something larger a option? If your only moving a short distance it may take a few trips but at least you are in control of damages. Thats the way i do it, then i have no-one to blame but myself
