Teaching Korean Students Via Internet

Featured Replies

I've just seen an ad for teaching English via the internet to students in Korea which was advertising an hourly rate of $18 to $20 per hour. Would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who knows anything about this good or bad.

Koreans expect their "online teacher" to have an Internet connection that is comparable to their own, unfortunately that is difficult requirement to meet in Thailand.

Yes this was my first concern but my ADSL passed the speed connection requirements they posted on the ad. I still doubt whether a Thai connection is really going to be sufficient for crystal clear webcam and mic transmission ala korean broadband though.
