Extend My 60 Day Tourist Visa With16 Days?

Featured Replies

In 5 days my 60 days tourist visa runs out.

I understand that I can go to the Immigration and get an extension. Up to 30 days if needed.

I will leave the kingdom in about 15-16 days, in order to get back to work, so I really dont need 30 days.

I understand that to extend my tourist visa is a formality, just as when one extend the 30 day stamp with 7 days (as I am familiar with).

Pls correct me here guys if Im wrong, or pls confirm that I am on the right track here.

thnx guys

Routine in most cases but you will ask for 30 days as that is will will normally be provided and cost will be 1,900 baht regardless of time.

Thnx a lot.

Just the answer I was looking for.

Nothing too much (or less), or confusing.

Yes 30 days is what you will get.

Fantastic.

Went in with my papers, and left the Immigration building less then 5 minutes later, with a new stamp in the passport.

Less then 5 minutes!

This must be, if not a record, very close to a recort short time spent at the Immigration.
