Tourist Visa Limit?

Just wondering if there is a limit to the number of 60 day tourist visas I can get? I am hoping to get a double entry visa in Singapore next month but have already been in on one...then a 3 month non-imm O (work permit didn't get approved in the end)...then two 30 days on arrival. My boyfriend is working here so am hoping to be able to stay in the country until at least Dec. although I know i'll have to come in and out in order to get new visas.

So basically just wondering if there is a limit to the number of tourist visas I can get and/or if my history of various visas this year will be a problem.

Singapore has stopped issue of anything but single entry visas it appears. Vientiane is the only place in the area where a two entry tourist visa is normally not a problem even with a history.

There is no set limit but Consulates will sometimes set there own, usually informing applicant not to return again.

What about if I can show my flight back to Canada - about 120 days after I intend to get the visa (i.e. a double entry would get me right up to the point when I'd be leaving for good). Is it possible that they would issue one then?

As Lopburi said. Go to Vientienne, get a double entry tourist visa. This will get you almost 6 months. No problem.

No can do - we're in Singapore for a different reason so need to get the visa there. Have been to Vientienne before for visa, no problem, but I'm asking about Singapore because that's where i need to do it!

Unless you are really lucky, it'll only be a single entry in Singapore

as lopuri and and lite beer say, the chances of you getting a double entry at singapore is very slim, however if your there, try, go early rather than late, go smart, go alone, go with good manners, make sure you have many photocopys of your passport, and your photos, smile and good luck!
