The new photo regulations for British passport seem quite incredible. Can anyone recommend a photo shop in south of Phuket that can produce photos EXACTLY to the regulations? thanks in advance.

Thanks Flip - will try there.

To LeungKen, well we have printed off the photo regulations from the British Embassy website - it is 3 pages long - do this, don't do that, don't smile, don't show teeth, don't look sideways, exactly where your head should be positioned in the pic, exact size of pic, colour, blah blah blah. I won't repeat it all here - but will be sure to take with us to the photo shop of course.

Last year I went to the photo shop near Chalong Circle (before Mike's Burgers) and they assured me that they could supply photos to British Embassy specs, no problem. So I had them make photos, off to Bangkok, passport office tried to digitise the photos, no go. So I ended up going to a small mall just opposite, right of British Embassy.

My point is ... BEWARE of what photo place claim. They just want to sell photos .... !!!

The shop mentioned on the 3rd. floor of Central, has printouts of the specs for virtually all embassies that require them. You tell them your country, and they find the regulations and done.

They also know not to print them in inkjet.
