Hit And Run

We got hit by a green Mitsubishi pick-up truck today with license number 4377 (prefixed by 2 Thai letters) at the intersection of Thappraya and Thepprasit. It was a minor scrape, but for some reason the driver who we believe was a farang made a break for it. We followed him around south Pattaya for about 10 minutes. At one point we tried to pull in front of him and he nearly crashed into us again avoiding getting boxed in. He was obviously NOT going to stop to discuss the incident. Eventually he got a break in traffic that we did not and he made his gateaway.

We have to wonder why someone would take such an agressively evasive action for a minor scrape? If anyone knows the owner of this car we would love to know what he was thinking?

Thanks.

Maybe the guy had more important things on his mind, like maybe it was a stolen car or he had illegal contraband on-board or maybe he just didn't have any money.

It should not be too difficult for you to track him down even if you have to pay some

" tea money " to the Boys in Brown.

I think it would be wise to end this post before you get a 15 day suspension from Thaivisa.com...... Take it from the guy with the busted mirror.

Let your insurers deal with it as a "failed to stop" accident.
