Looks like I missed the 90 day reporting deadline by one day. I sent it by mail to BKK immigration. How soon do I have to personally have to go to the BKK office? It is not conveneint to go at thsi time. 2,000 bht penalty fee, correct ?? Can I also take care of this at the Non Khai office? Thanks.

I believe you have a 7 day lee way, therefore avoiding any fines

and you should be able to do the report at your local office, Non Khai?

Bangkok will probably process it so I would hope for the best. If not believe they send you a form explaining what you need to do.

As far as I know, you can do the 90 day reporting at every Immigration Office.

I just renewed my retirement visa for the 4th time on April 1st. I assume the 90 day clock starts ticking (again) from that day. I mistakenly sent in a previous reciept, which date was no longer valid, because of my visa renewal occuring on April 1st. I think they just looked at the old reciept and assumed I was late. Is everyone sure about the 7 day grace period? If so, I think they (immigration office) are incorrect in saying I was late.

The only time the clock is reset is first application for an extension of stay. After that only entry into the country or normal 90 day report resets the clock.

There is no grace period that I am aware of when you mail your report. It must arrive by the report date or it is late and may not be processed. That said I am sure many are in fact processed after the date without issue as most are not processed immediately on receipt. But you should mail in advance as instructed.

Send the mail before the renewal date 7 days to

My visa renewal (the 4th one) was stamped April 1st. Is that the start date of the 90 days?

The 90 day report is 90 days from your last 90 day report. Nothing to do with Extension Renewals

Two separate things.

Did they not staple a peace of paper in your passport telling you when to report again?

Looks like this

Yes, I have the reciept from my previous reporting. What you are saying is different from the information I have gotten from others. If you are correct, then I am in fact late from May 25th. Many people assume that the clock resets at the date of your visa renewal, apparently not so. Thanks for the information.
