You Can't Keep A Woman Down...tina Turner Returns

Featured Replies

Many old Pattaya hands were sad to learn of the closure (now demolishment and redevelopment) of the tacky but fun Malibu cabaret show and bar at the top of soi Post Office. It was always good for a few laughs and inexpensive drinks in a friendly atmosphere. After many many years (decades?) its lease expired and I suppose the new rent went through the roof so Tina Turner took off her wig and closed the place down.

Well it's not only old men who get 2nd lives in Pattaya...Tina and her fellow guys and "dolls" have moved down 2nd road just a little bit to nice new digs in a place called, what else, "Malibu Show Bar." It is located just a couple businesses up from the Siam Bayview Hotel or about a quarter kilo down from their old location.

I used to go to Malibu bar quite often, but I stopped going there a few years ago as the shows were always the same. Have they changed the actual show? Would be nice to see something different.

Gag. Of course, it couldn't go away forever.

Pattaya.

Was there last week and the shows are much better than before ,at the new location .I am rather tired of the Tina turner act though ,but its only a small part of the whole show .
