Hi Everyone,

I just joined this forum yesterday. This has been on my mind for a while, so if anyone can advise a bit or give some tips, I will be most grateful.

I'm currently in Bangkok, on a long holiday while I finish my novel. Before this, I use to give private tuition in my office for the past 7 years, on maths and calculus college level.

I am a little bored of my routine, and I still have 2 months at least in Bangkok, so am wondering how do I go about giving home tuition in Bangkok. Is it legal to begin with. And will charging 800 -1000 baht an hour be reasonable?

Cheers,

John

Working without a work permit is illegal. However, many teachers do private tutoring on the side. 800-1000 baht seems reasonable for math and calculus.
