OK, the "thai2english" website is great for shorter sentence type remarks. It has worked well for me to leave the occasional comment with friends overseas, but I am now in a situation where the conversation is lasting longer then anticipated. I do not read or write THAI, I can speak a little I can understand more then a little.

So the "help" part of the topic title. I need a bit of translation done please:

Thai to English - อยากไป เมกา (translator would not show last word)

English to Thai - I do not read or write Thai, I speak only a little Thai. I use an online translator to communicate. (because of complicated sentences, I dont dare use online translator)

BELOW is the conversation we have had so far. Started with me simply making a comment about her picture in her photo album. Then the rest below that is what has been stated so far, ending with the latest comment from her.

ADVICE PART OF THE TOPIC! Is it wise (if she does not speak English nor I THAI) to try and hang out? Or think we can just gesture alot and make due?

Personally thinking it might be a bit frustrating, but adventurous and fun at the same time =)

เมกา 'may-ga' is a slang form of "America" ,it's shortened from อเมริกา. So อยากไป เมกา is "I want to go to America", พาเที่ยวหน่อย in that context is basically saying "Please take me there" and จริงนะซิ is "Yes, really"

As far as the advice part of the question goes, I don't think there's any harm in it. You obviously understand some Thai, and she probably understands some English. If you can't communicate you'll figure out pretty quick that it was a bad idea.

Really appreciate it fellas. I am a little dissappointed that she wants to come to the US though... just thought I would fly out there, not for her but to finish up my tattoo, and possibly meet up with her then =)
