No surprise on his pro-Israel stance really as he is in a congo line of Bush arse lickers . People hated him or loved him. But, it is the second death of a figurehead to hit the arab world with Sheik Zayed of the UAE passing away as well . May they both enjoy the fruits of paradise. Arafat's wife hasn't seen him for more than 2 years because he has been confined to his compound in Ramallah. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Presumably the accommodation at Ramallah wasn't quite as luxurious as a five star hotel in Paris.
