The Tourism Channel

Featured Replies

I don't want to knock it for the sake of knocking it. I understand they have a low budget, but every time I turn my TV on, it's there on channel 1. For the past year, the Tourism Channel has had the exact same set of programs running on a continuous loop. I can't help but think that this channel could be quite interesting if that bloke and his Thai friend went anywhere other than that one spa and Tiger disco. There are heaps of things that would make for good low-budget television. I'm guessing they have absolutely no money or funding, which is a shame I guess.

Has anyone ever watched this channel?

cant say i have seen the show you are talking about, but i did used to watch 'destination thailand' when i was there. i found it to be interesting at times, even though the producers, capital tv, did operate on a very low budget.

ํำYeh, I look at that channel when I am very bored with regular TV. It's interesting the odd time when they they have a new loop on. Yesterday was about Songkran last year. How old a loop can you get.

It is oriented towards tourists who are only in LoS for a short period.

The loop is not for local consuption as entertainment.
