wca01 Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Dont forget to make a copy from the old and new passeport. Go to room 101 on the groundfloor. A lady will hand you a form, called "change of passeport", which you have to fille in. (Some details about your old and new passeport) Then the lady will put several stamps in your new passeport. You have to go to another lady which controls the first lady's work. After signing you go back to the first lady, which give you the final ok. Nice, easy and free WC (It's not on the 4th floor and you need to fill out a form, despite other reports on this forum)
kenkannif Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 The second floor in Thailand though (i.e. they don't have a groundfloor here)?
wca01 Posted November 16, 2004 Author Posted November 16, 2004 You walk in from the main entrance and straight ahead on your right is office 101. There was any stairs to climb. WC
kenkannif Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 My apologies (although I assume you're saying there weren't any stairs to climb?). I went last year and had to go up some steps (or was it this year? Time flies when you're getting old(er)) to do it!
Axel Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Na, there ain't none of them steps. But for me there ain't no paper neither. Perhaps different section, different rule. Important is, they do it and it is free. Don't forget to transer your re-entry permit as well ,if you have one. Re-entry section is to your left in the big hall.
lopburi3 Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Suspect we are talking apples and oranges here. If you transfer an extension of stay you most likely would do that in the extension rooms 101 or 102 but if you are talking a visa believe that is still done upstairs.
kenkannif Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 That's why I went upstairs then (transfer WPed Visa stamp!). Doesn't it get boring being right all the time Lop
orchis Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I distinctly remember having taken an elevator at some point
Gazza Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I just got back from imm. where I had to transfer my 30 day stamp. It was up on the 4th floor. Room 402. Filled out a form then had to trudge back down those crumby stairs to the first floor to photocopy my PP photo pages/stamp page. Back up those horrible stairs and then wait 10 mins to get everything done.
