A Blog is a Weblog, you can use it as your own homepage/website, use it as a private or open dairy. Upload pictures and files etc etc. Check the Google link I gave above.

If you want to try it out, just go to here and activate it:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=00

The settings is in the upper left column of the forum control panel.

We will add more functionality this weekend.

Questions?

Ask here, we are all new to Blogs!

Weblogs (Blogs) are terrific! The political ones are responsible for the fair and accurate news that came out leading up to the recent US election.

When I get a little time I'm going to start one - think it will be fun.

Many thanks George! TV is the place to be! :o

Great, looking forward to see your Blog, Boon Mee.

A few of the blogs already up and running here:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?automodule=blog

Thanks for the link. Will the above link also appear anywhere else on the forum or main site? Reckon it'd be good if the list of blogs was easily accessible to the average browser to give each blogger maximum exposure.

The link "Blog" is on top of EVERy forum page!

The link "Blog" is on top of EVERy forum page!

Er, oh yeah. :o

I'll go back to doing something I'm half decent at.

Is it possible to alter my settings so that new entries go to the bottom of the page, as opposed to the top?

Not yet. The blog uses the same default as the forum, new entries go on top.

The feature to change this is noted on the wish list. Coming soon.

Got any directions on how to use it. I've activated mine as a private blog and tried to download a picture from a floppy but can't find it . What am I doing wrong and or how do I do this and then put one as an avitar and the others to post in this or other forums? Thanks for the help , Kringle :o

Can anyone help with this. I've activated my blog but can't seem to get it to work. Is there any place on the forum where I can learn how to work this or can someone help please.
