ok been here 15 months on a 1 yaer muti entry went to imagration and thay would only give me 7 days extension which is expiring tomorrow

so going to ranong for a 30 day tomorrow morning

when this is up im told mu best option is to go to laos and obtain a 60 +60 day visa is this correct

only thought im having is iv done the multiple 1 year got the last 90 days on 2nd day before end of the visa

does this affect the 3x30 day visas never even give it a thought till now and i have to do visa run tomorrow

reason i asked the question is iv read somewhere that you cant get a double entry straight after useing your 3 x 30 days so am well confused at the min

and need to get this right now

because i have to go tonight or first thing in morning

regards

les

Only visa exempt/overstay count against the 90 days in six month rule. Time that was stamped for visa entry is not counted. You can always enter with a visa entry. You will not have any problem getting a visa exempt entry but remember there is a formal requirement to have 10k cash and air ticket out every time you use this type of entry. Do not believe it will be checked but there is always that possibility.

You can get any type of visa after 3x30 visa exempt if you meet the normal requirements.

You haven't used your 3x30 visa exempt entries -- you've been here the last 15 months on a Non Imm multi-entry (you don't say 'Non Imm,' but that's the only kind of '1-year' visa issued). Or did I miss something?

If, indeed, you've been here with a Non Imm visa, there should be no restrictions on getting a new visa in Laos, even after entering Thailand a single time on a visa exempt from Ranong.
