August 25, 200817 yr Is there somewhere i can got a shower and a bit of sleep maybe ? British Airways lounge, if you are "sapphire" or higher frequent flyer in the One World alliance. It's about average as far as lounges go, but you can get a shower, sleep and snack. I would expect Star Alliance partners to have similar facilities. As far as non-lounge facilities go, I don't think there are any at Suv. If I had that much time to kill without lounge access, I would go to the massage joint and get a 1-hour foot massage, followed by a 1-hour upper body massage. It costs a little bit, but you can easily nod off for a power nap in a very comfortable chair, and you will feel very refreshed afterward.

Otherwise, there's the Novotel, but you won't really have time.

They also have a lounge which you can access (I think) by paying a nominal fee but I don't know if it has showers

No these rooms are within the transit area no need to clear immigration and customs
August 26, 200817 yr That assumes having to clear customs and immigration, then check back in, pay departure fee, etc. Is that correct? You wouldn't have to check in or pay a departure fee, but may have a long wait at immigration.

Based on the flight durations provided I'm guessing this is an international to international connection, your bags are interlined to the final destination so you will stay in international transit, aka 'airside'. If you are Star Gold then you can access the TG lounge(s), one or two of which have showers, provided you are flying a *A airline. Other carriers/alliances operate lounges at SBIA. And then there are the previously-mentioned pay-per-use Louis Tavern day-rooms and CIP lounge(s).

August 28, 200817 yr Etihad onto Air Asia ,My company booked it this time.Ah well, looks like a massage and louis' tavern. Thanks guys. I don't think you can stay air side with an Air Asia transfer Air Asia does not have a transfer desk inside the terminal. You will need to clear immigration, pick-up your bags and clear customs Then check-in at Air Asia counter in deprture hall Not much time left for a nap Good luck
August 30, 200817 yr Try contacting Gary Glitter. He has a lot of recent experience with this. What 'Showering', I doubt it, unless he liked dropping the soap
