Selling Land In Pak Chong

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have some land with a house in Pak Chong I want to sell and have been told all land sales in PC are on hold because of some political issues. Does anyone know if this is true? I find this hard to believe but it seems anything goes in the LOS.

Thank you

Hi Thai Cowboy,

No there is no problem in selling, at least that I am aware of. My family have purchased some land in Pak Chong last month with no problem (they are Thai so not sure if that helped). The only issue at the moment is land encrochement on forest lands. There is a general who bought over 60 rai in Pak Chong, the title was one less than an NS3 and the governement were accusing him of using land that was not allowed to be developed. If you have the title deed, be it NS3 or a chanote, then you are fine.

Good luck.

P.S.

We will eventually sell land to expats there, what's the best way of doing it as there are no reputable estate agents that I know of?
