I know the 30 day thing gets alot of flak here. Oh well , my 3 month is running out in a few days and unfortuantly i need to extend it before heading to another country in December where i will apply for another tourist visa. In the past done the Poipet thing, man ..what a hole. Thought about Trat as a different option, plus a few days being a bum on Koh Chang . Can u get Cambo visas on arrival, is it the same kinda set up as Piopet? . Will be carrying sufficent cash in case asked .

500Baht extra on the Cambo side for leaving the same day. That was the last I heard. Cash, cannot help you there.

I plan to do the trip to Had Lek next week for a change of scenery for a few days.

You can get the Cambodian Visa at the border.

The cost is $25, but they only accept baht, my guess is they will want at least 1200 baht.

If you return the same day they will want a few hundred extra for the privelege of not staying.

Why not take a motorcycle taxi to Mean Chey and stay a night.
