I was surfing the Net for some reason, and came across a forum of the eGullet Society. What I found was a thread written by Peter Green about a year ago as a blog about Thai food. It's called "eG Foodblog: Peter Green, Bringing Bangkok Back Home". The thread is closed but it has 6 pages crammed full of photos and descriptions of his food adventures in Thailand. He covers a wide spectrum of dining locations from fancy restaurants to street vendors. In addition, he evidently enjoys cooking and shows numerous ingredients he uses in his own home cooking. He's a very witty writer and it's well worth a read, if for no other reason than to pick up a few ideas. Don't be surprised if you find yourself getting hungry after reading it.

Please excuse me but I think I'm going to go find myself something to eat. :o
