Phi Phi Don Island of Krabi in southern Thailand was voted one of the top 100 top world destinations ranking 82nd due to its tranquility and natural beauty. The Tourism Authority of Thailand, Krabi Director Pornprapa Lorsuwan said tourists voted through the website www.tripadvisor.com which has over 25 million visitors per month. It was also voted one of the top 25 for Asia Tourist Destinations, ranked 5th. Other Thai destinations which were also rated in the top 25 included Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Pha-Ngan Island, Koh Tao in Surat Thani and Krabi province itself, ranked 25th.
